Why did we start the Pour Michigan Wine Barn? Easy! We love wine and we love our state but we didn't think Michigan wine was getting the attention it so deserves! We wanted to create a place to showcase the best of Michigan wine where Michiganders and visitors alike could come to experience and truly appreciate the many incredible wines, wineries, and winemakers of our great state!

The Pour Michigan Wine Barn celebrates Michigan wine by merging the elevated experience of a traditional tasting room with the adventure of exploring the state through it’s own wine appellations. We want to educate customers on the unique terroirs, climate, and varietals distinctive to each of Michigan's five American Viticulture Areas (AVA).

 

We are so impressed with the adventurous spirit of Michigan winemakers and work hard to showcase wineries producing both classic and interesting wines which exemplify characteristics unique to the AVA from which they were produced.

 

 Our self-serve wine machines and wine-centric events and classes make wine tasting an exciting, interactive, and educational experience. We hope a visit here will inspire pride in Michigan viticulture!
